Paper

This 9 x 12″ block is a great starting point for working in this style and is used for 90% of the School tutorials. Alternatively the 12 x 16″ block is the larger size that a few of the tutorials are painted at.

Brushes

The Anna Mason Set is produced by Rosemary & Co.  This link takes you to the set on their website for speedy ordering.  They can also be ordered via Jackson’s Art.

They now also produce a ‘top-up set’ which includes 2 each of the size 000, 0 and 1 brushes – the brushes that tend to wear down the quickest with my technique. You can buy the top up set here.

Anna now uses a square porcelain plate – a ‘salad’ size plate (hers is 7″ square).  There are many online, just search for ‘square salad plate’. For example: Sur la Table has one here.
