In this mini class with my good friend Jennifer Rose, she’s going to show you how to paint a loose watercolor poppy flower using a variety of techniques, including wet-in-wet and wet-on-dry.
Jennifer doesn’t start with an outline drawing for this painting, instead going straight in with her paint for a very loose result.
No two poppies painted in this way will look the same, and you can have endless fun coming up with lots of different looking poppies.
Take a look at how to paint them:
I hope you’re feeling inspired by this mini class to give your own loose watercolor poppy a go.
Please do leave Jennifer and I a comment if you’ve enjoyed this class; we love hearing from you.
