Watercolor bird tutorial [loose style]

If you’ve ever wondered how to paint birds in loose watercolor, you’re in for a treat. In this fun mini class my friend, artist Jennifer Rose, shows you how to paint a cute and easy watercolor bird in her loose style.

The bird Jennifer shows you how to paint in this class is a sweet little bluetit. If you’re not familiar with bluetits, they’re brightly coloured and full of charm. Using a combination of wet-on-dry and wet in wet watercolor techniques, Jennifer will guide you through the process of using layers of paint to build up colour and create lots of texture and atmosphere.
